Spring Winds

I found a store I haven’t been to in years, and avatars, ago.  I remember buying a little purple hoodie…  I fondly remember my old clothing, lost along the way.  This dress is nothing like the clothes I remember but on the back wall…we’ll get to that in the next post.  Anyway, a nice simple dress is free to SLF&O folks.

Head Up High

I’ve been struggling to get back to myself for (shockingly!) almost a year now, due to the usual failed SL interaction.  I also dearly want to improve this blog, so I am not wasting time blogging for myself (I already know where the stuff is!).  Too, I have been struggling with what it should be about, because sometimes I have money, and most of the time I don’t.  My main avatar has a mesh body, hands and feet now, but the others don’t.  I still feel there is a place for classic avatars and people who cannot or will not put money into the game.  I’m thinking I should inform on whether something is for classic avatars only, appliers folks, mesh bodies only, that sort of thing.  What I really want to do is tell you about cool things I find that maybe not to many people know about, present them in an appealing way quickly and not get bogged down with trying to track down the extras.

Prior to the whole midnight madness ordeal (were you there? did you survive it? did you get a t-shirt proving this?) I decided to check out stores with a smaller traffic number, and learned that even the big stores (the ones you dance around on your tippy-toes for waiting for their next contributions to Collabor88 or Uber) have abysmal traffic levels.  I love going to stores and I really will be sad when they disappear, it’s the only thing that gets me out of my cave.

MoDANNA’s present group gift for is a simple black dress with a big impact.  I haven’t had this avatar on the grid in again, over a year.   I gave her an overhaul, slapped on the February 7 Deadly s{K}ins gift and she is better than ever.  Now…Alice Project.   You probably know by now, but everyday from January 16 to February 14 she is gifting a free hair in two different colour packs.  Once that hair’s day is done, you can still buy them for $50.00.

Advent Calendar 1 – The Likeness is Uncanny

This should have been for yesterday, but…I didn’t think of it until today!

This little outfit comes from the Santa’s Wish List: Naughty or Nice Hunt, which continues until December 15th.  You can hunt for it for 1L or pay 25L to have it instantly.  The outfit includes the bodysuit with appliers, armwarmers, legwarmers, antlers, ears, nose (all in one) and the collar.   I nabbed the hair out of the brand new Analog Dog freeball (on the beach beyond the hair displays – it’s invisible-ish).  The boots peeking out were freebies I picked up from Reverie.
